TOAST recorded two albums, neither of which ever saw the light of day. The first, "Planet Detox", was recorded during the summer of 1997. The band was never fully satisfied with the recordings nor the mixes, so they remained unreleased. Their second batch of recordings were done in early 1998 but several months after recording, the band broke up.

In 1999, Crash, Richie and Coma Joe, now performing in the band Grumpy, released their debut CD "Beetch". At the end of "Beetch" were several uncredited bonus tracks - four songs from the initial 1997 recordings of TOAST's "Planet Detox".

Don't Touch That Dial (1997)

"Don't Touch That Dial" was originally written and recorded by Coma Joe's late-70's punk band The Spy's. It was a mutual favourite of the members of TOAST and just felt natural when they performed it. This was one of the first songs recorded for the failed 1997 "Planet Detox" album, though it did surface as one of the hidden tracks on Grumpy's 1999 release "Beetch".

Ten Little Fingers (1997)

"Ten Little Fingers" was a smokin' little raunchy number written by our darling on bass, Coma Joe. We were big fans of the Supersuckers and Reverend Horton Heat and this was a real homage to them and their psychobilly stylings. It was partially inspired because Coma had this funny kinda crush on the young girl bassist from this Windsor punk band P.O.D. She was so cute with her chelsea and her kilt playing her bass. It wasn't any kinda "Lolita" creepy crush. It was a fatherly "that's cool she wants to rock out" crush. Anyway, this song has some fantastic guitar work courtesy of Richie Holiday and there's a dual lead vocal here done by Coma Joe and Johnny Ten-Inch. This was also part of the unreleased "Planet Detox" sessions but showed up on the Grumpy CD as hidden tracks.
